Curriculum Corner – Subscription Boxes
Exploring Curriculum is a series covering the core academic subjects for grades TK-8. Here are some of the past subjects covered:
Kiwi Crate offers four different types of boxes. Koala Crates might be a good option for a TK learner because it includes activities for young learners. Kiwi Crates have maker projects that include math, science and engineering skills and topics for kinder to third graders. Tinker Crates include STEM projects for third grade and older. Finally, Doodle Crates are perfect for budding artists who want to learn about art and design. These crates may be purchased as six-month subscriptions, and all orders must be submitted by December.
If you would like to order a science kit for an elementary learner, check out The Young Scientists Club . This site has a collection of kits that include Magic School Bus, Clifford and nature-themed boxes. Your young scientist will love these hands-on kits!
