Wildlife Waystation

wildlife

Our learners had the opportunity to visit the Wildlife Waystation, a nonprofit animal sanctuary in the Los Angeles area. We learned about the many wild animals who live at the sanctuary because they can no longer live on their own. Pictures of the animals were shown and we learned some interesting animal facts. We were able to handle peacock feathers, porcupine quills, snake skins, wolf and camel fur, skulls from several different animals, a tortoise shell and many more animal parts.
