Learner Spotlight: Darla Becker
Darla Becker is a high school iLEAD learner. Once you meet her, it won’t take long to know that her greatest passion is learning about and nurturing animals. She has a deep curiosity about living creatures, from making homes for the tiniest hermit crabs, to raising chickens in her back yard, and even breeding geckos.
Her vibrant energy and enthusiasm make it fun to chat with Darla about animals’ life cycles, habitats and their basic needs…she knows her stuff! Caring for and understanding living creatures is just second nature to this girl with a heart of gold. We are so grateful Darla is part of our iLEAD community!
