California Healthy Youth Act

Did You Know

California requires all public schools to provide a course in sexual health education and HIV prevention education once for 7th grade and once for 9th grade. You can find more information about the California Healthy Youth Act here.

Last week, 7th and 9th grade families received information about CHYA via ParentSquare. Learners have 60 calendar days to complete the course. The fall session begins September 24 and ends November 22. No extensions are permitted. For more information, please contact your EF.
