Enrichment Event at the Acton Curriculum Library
Learners in grades 1-5 are invited to the following enrichment opportunities on December 7:
Cinderella Around the World, Grades 1-3:
Cinderella is known around the world, but do you know Yeh-Shen? The Rough-Faced Girl? How about Tattercoats? Join staff and families at the Acton Curriculum Library on December 7 at 12:30 PM to explore all the many places that celebrate Cinderella, while comparing and contrasting the different versions of the classic story. Take home one of the many versions of Cinderella in the library and then keep your project going at home. RSVP here.
Around the World Reading Challenge, Grades 4-5:
Our 4th-5th grade learners are invited to join this enrichment opportunity on December 7 at 2:30 PM to explore the different books from around the world and how to locate them in the library. After learning how to locate materials, learners will create their own reading passport to start their journey. Learners who complete their passport before the end of the school year will earn a prize for their international reading efforts. RSVP here.
