Parent University
Please join us for our first set of parent education workshops. This week, our training will focus on helping parents with effective techniques to teach math.
We are offering an in-person parent workshop called “Bridging the Gap: A Math Education Series for Parents” on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 9-11 a.m. This workshop will be held at the ASTEME Learning Center located at 11672 Gateway Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064.
In addition, we are holding a parent webinar called “Teaching Models for Math,” on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. This webinar will focus on an 8-step problem-solving model and the Gradual Release of Responsibility, a research-based learning model.
Lastly, we are holding our first ever virtual parent round table discussion on Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. This is a great opportunity for new and experienced independent studying parents to connect and share ideas.
Please RSVP here if you would like to attend any of these trainings.
