Celebrating Women’s History Month
In March, we celebrate Women’s History Month. During this month, we learn about the achievements and contributions of women throughout history and celebrate their strength, courage, and determination.
Explore some of the resources below to celebrate:
- Rebel Girls from History: This audio series from KQED focuses on the amazing, mostly forgotten women from the late 19th and early 20th century whose lives, actions, and sacrifices helped shape today’s America. They are educators, organizers, fighters, adventurers, and so much more.
- Women, War & Peace: This multimedia collection including the PBS television series challenges the conventional wisdom that war and peace are men’s domain.
- Women’s History Month: Gen-Z Girls Challenge the Status Quo: Hear what students have to say in this collection of Youth Media Challenge Submissions.
