Become a Junior Ranger!

Are you interested in enjoying your California state parks? You may want to consider having your learner(s) become a Junior Ranger! Junior Rangers gather at more than 70 state parks, from the Redwood Region to the High Sierra to the sunny southern California beaches. Your learner can earn badges and stamps as they complete activities in geology, ecology, history, safety, plants, wildlife, and more.

If your family is unable to visit a national park, learners can also become Web Rangers to earn badges at home. If you are looking for parks to explore near you, download the “Oh, Ranger! ParkFinder” App!

Lastly, did you know that fourth graders (and their families!) can see America’s natural wonders and historic sites for free?! Visit here for more information.
