Get Lit Open Mic Night for Aspiring Poets
Get Lit is a local nonprofit that uses poetry to increase literacy, empower youth, and inspire communities. Every Saturday throughout the school year, Get Lit hosts a drop-in class for youth ages 13 to 19. Open to all experience levels, this class is a great chance to find your voice and hone your editing and performance techniques. Other skills emphasized are professionalism and accountability. Join Get Lit every Saturday from 1o a.m. to 2 p.m.! No reservation is necessary.
