Community Jobs & Careers

Grades 1-3: Exploring Community Jobs

Learners in grades 1-3 are invited to participate in this Enrichment event at the Acton Curriculum Library where they will explore the many different parts that make up our community. Learners will have the opportunity to write about a job of their choice and how they can make their community better. RSVP here.

Grades 4-5: Career Exploration

Through guided reading and intentional writing, learners in grades 4-5 will explore different careers — from elephant caretaker to urban farmer — during this enrichment opportunity at the Curriculum Library. Through these activities, learners will be able to research careers they may have never heard of and picture themselves in these unique positions. RSVP here.
