Wondering what to do for a reading program for your K-12 learners? Look no further than your complimentary Tales2go subscription. There’s more to the Tales2go App than just a great audiobook selection. Tales2go is a great way for learners to hone their listening, language acquisition, and comprehension skills. Visit the Tales2go website at the Resources tab; click on Lesson Plans, and you will find detailed lesson plans, printouts, graphic organizers, fun activities, and craft suggestions for audiobooks at every grade level. These resources are all linked to specific CA state standards. If you’re looking for inspiration, or if you want to be alerted to new titles or learn how other families are using Tales2go, you can also subscribe to their blog (also found under the Resources tab).
There are so many ways to incorporate this awesome resource into your day or week. Listen together in the car, during dinner prep, or cuddled up on the couch. Having paper and various drawing materials prepared is a great way to help active learners listen more carefully, or provide visual learners with a way to bring the stories they hear to life.
