MAP Testing

MAP

We would like to thank the hundreds of families who have already participated in our MAP assessment. Our school must collectively demonstrate growth from year to year, and we are asking for your participation to demonstrate our learners’ amazing growth to the state and our authorizers. The MAP Growth test responds to your learner’s individual learning levels by adapting to each question answered correctly or incorrectly until it has honed in on the exact level in the subject and all its sub-categories.
You are able to take the test from home on your own computer at a time convenient for you, and it allows for breaks if you need them. Once you complete the test, you will receive a comprehensive report within 2-3 days of finishing the assessment. Your educational facilitator will be happy to show you how to interpret the results and use the scores to customize your learning experience.
If you are excited to support our school but don’t want the results from the longer test at this time, please talk to your educational facilitator about a shorter test called the MAP screener, which still allows us to present our growth as a school.
Thank you to all our wonderful families for supporting our school in this way! For more information, please watch this video, view this Powerpoint presentation, or visit the MAP website to read the NWEA parent toolkit.
